In season 6 it is revealed to the rest of the office that Jim and Pam are having a baby, and the two are soon married in Niagara Falls. Jim, looking to secure his family’s future, convinces David Wallace into promoting him to Co-Regional Manager of the Scranton branch along with Michael. Jim’s focus will be the day-to-day operations, while Michael will focus on clients.
